Wrinkles are inevitable. As we age, our skin will form wrinkles. Because of this, we buy wrinkle cream. It helps prevent more wrinkles and lessens the appearance of the ones we already have, but it is not enough to keep those pesky wrinkles away. In addition to buying wrinkle cream, there are four healthy skin habits that will give your skin a healthy and youthful appearance.
1. Protect yourself from the harmful UV rays from the sun. UV rays are most harmful between 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Light clothing, hats, and shade, protect your skin from direct sunlight and prevent sunburn and dry skin which can cause premature wrinkles in the skin.
2. Use at least SPF 15 sunscreen everyday. Not even cold and cloudy weather will protect you from those harmful UV rays. Replacing everyday products with ones that contain SPF 15 will make wearing sunscreen effortless.
3. Keeping your skin hydrated with moisturizer will temporarily mask unwanted creases and prevent new ones from developing. Applying moisturizer daily is a great healthy skin habit and applying one that contains at least SPF 15 is even better!
4. Break your smoking habit for great skin care. Not only does smoking cause you to make exaggerated facial expressions, it inhibits the blood flow around your mouth causing wrinkles that you would not get from natural aging.
